I've always been a bit of a sassy, stubborn Texan born-and-raised outside of Dallas. I spent my early adult years in Vegas and Orlando, as well as some time after college in Guam (no, I'm not military, I just wasn't going to pass up the chance to live on beach). I'm a proud mother of two rescue hounds, a wife, an event planner by trade, a whiskey drinker for social reasons, a baker, a cook, and all-around awesome person. I'm the "worst white girl ever" as I hate pumpkin, pumpkin spice, coffee/lattes, Starbucks' refusal to conform to sizing norms, brunch, Rose, Uggs, and other things like that, but it seems to bring balance to my circles of friends :-)
I'm quasi-crafty which is more a cause of frustration than relaxation as I'm not artistic. I'm probably the measuring stick of what's considered "dummy-proof" in the craft world. Glitter is the devil.
Much of my down-time is spent like many other females - pinning pins on Pinterest, then doing nothing with them. I'm working to change that by slowly working my way through the madness (since I'm toeing the 27,500 pin mark, it's gonna take some time).
