Pinterest Try: Olive Garden's Capellini Pomodoro

I'll admit, I don't eat at Olive Garden often. For some reason, my husband and I rarely go since his Granny B passed away (she loved the place). We recently went prior to a friend's son's JV basketball game as my husband was craving the "Never Ending Pasta" promo. When we got there, I was a bit bummed my favorite, Capellini Pomodoro, was no longer an option on the menu. Thanks to Pinterest, I found a copycat option to try.

Overall, it was pretty much like I remember. Highly recommend it. My recommendation is to add a pinch or two of sugar. Also, do not use grape tomatoes - they take FOREVER to seed compared to larger versions, but it was all I could find at the store. Also, I'd have preferred actual Parmigiano-Reggiano (or Grana Padano), but for testing a recipe, I'll settle for the inferior powder in a plastic tube.
